Dear Clients,

After receiving updated advice from the Government we must make some necessary changes to the service we can offer our clients.

We have made the decision to CLOSE our Johnstone branch until the restrictions are lifted. All prescriptions will be transferred to our Bridge of Weir branch to be collected. We have made this decision to preserve staff numbers and to safeguard the level of care we can offer you throughout this crisis. Our team will continue to work from the Bridge of Weir surgery where we will continue to offer emergency care, help and advice for all our clients.

The following measures are now in place:

  • All routine appointments are cancelled and will be rescheduled once this crisis is over.
  • We will not be allowing any clients access to the practice. We will have to take your pet from you at the door and our vet team will discuss the case with you by phone. Please give reception an up-to-date mobile number when you make initial contact. (Collecting prescriptions is excluded from this protocol, however we will only allow one client in the Practice at a time). Please observe social distancing rules if there is a queue.
  • We are moving to a system of video-consults and this will allow a continuity of care. Please note there will still be a charge for this service which can be paid for at the time of booking your appointment.

We would like to reassure our clients that veterinary care for sick and emergency cases will still be available.

Our prescription ordering service will continue, however please provide us with as much notice as possible due to restrictions imposed by suppliers. Urgent and pre-ordered medications can still be collected from our Bridge of Weir surgery, please phone first to arrange collection.

The following changes to our opening times at Bridge of Weir will also be introduced with immediate effect:
Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm (we will close for lunch between 1pm and 2pm)
Saturday 9am to 12pm

These are challenging times, we must prioritise keeping everyone safe whilst still providing a service to you, our valued clients.

The situation is changing daily, we do our upmost to keep you updated throughout. This is a difficult time; however, we will always be here to help you and offer advice.

Our staff are going above and beyond to ensure all our clients can still get an excellent level of service. Please remember we might be doing so under difficult circumstances so please remember we will reply to your query as quickly as possible if you can’t get through on the phone.
